If there’s one thing I learned on my seventeenth birthday, it’s that I love trees. Throughout this trip, I took some quality time to inhale the crisp air and develop a bond with nature’s greatest gift – trees! Trees are beautiful, living creatures who live to give. They create mutualistic as well as symbiotic relationships with a lot in nature. While spending time among the treetops in Vancouver this Spring Break, I have developed a passion and strong bond with giant, majestic trees – so much so that I literally ran up to trees and gave them big hugs (thanks for the oxygen, trees… it’s kept me alive for the last seventeen years). This trip has shown me the beauty and value of nature, and I honestly believe that there is no feeling of happiness that can replace spending time with Mother Nature and trees. I could not be more grateful. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Vancouver! See you again soon.
